Another Day at the Funhouse

6:39pm: Been Busy
I have been so busy since Christmas that I just realized an hour ago that my birthday was last week!

My son has had exams everyday, so I have been helping him study, and my sister-in-law has started to plan her wedding, which is going to be huge!

Thank goodness all I have to do on the big day is show up! But still, I have been helping her with the decisions on the guest list and the venue and the flowers...

Seeing as her wedding is not until NEXT summer, which is the summer of 2011. she is already shoeing the signs of a full-fledged Bridezilla attack!

3:16pm: ARG!!!!
I have been looking for an old friend for quite a while now and I finally found her brother by accident the day before yesterday. I had not only been spelling her name wrong this whole time, but when I got the bright idea to see if her brother was internet accessible, I spelled his name wrong too!

I found him on Classmates.com but if I want to read any messages, I have to have a credit card to pay $10.

I have never owned a credit card, and I never want too! Anyone that pays any attention whatsoever knows that credit cards should be called credit-traps. I deal in cash only people!

And its the same everywhere!!!!

When I tried to use the online white pages, I was informed that I have to pay for that too!

WTF???

6:55pm: Holidaze
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!

As I was cooking a huge meal, cleaning the house for the thousandth time and answering question #15,497 that started with "Where is the..." when I stopped and asked myself why I call it a holiday when I am the one doing all the work?

The kids are happy and I am pretty pleased myself with our loot. Most of which got broken within a couple of hours! lol

So now that Christmas is over...

3:28pm: Merry Christmas Everyone!
Well, its that time of year again! The time for all of us to go crazy as we shop and organize for the holidays. If you are anything like me, you too will have put everything off until the last minute thinking that there is plenty of time before you have to worry about finishing everything. Then, suddenly, you realize that Christmas is in a week and you have only bought one present!

I have been baking up a storm, not that you would notice if you came to my house. With three small boys and a husband, everything seems to disappear before I'm even done with the dishes!

I drove the husband up a wall, just like I predicted! He didn't lock me in a closet, but he did lock me in the bedroom and told me to take a nap. lol!

3:51pm: I cleaned the house with a toothbrush and now I am bored.
I spent all morning cleaning the house. Shoving furniture around to wash underneath, cleaning out the closets and washing the floors.

Now I have nothing to do.

I'm bored.

There are no fan fics that I follow that have been updated. And why is it that I have hundreds of channels on my tv, and yet there is nothing on? Someone please explain to me how that can happen.

Being as bored as I am, I will probably end up posting again today too. Isn't that pathetic?

My missing friend has now earned one hundred lashes with an UNCOOKED fettuccine noodle because she is still missing from chat. She lives far away, and we have been friends since the seventh grade. Boy, the stupid stuff we used to get up too! lol

11:41pm: ARG!
I have spent the last 2 hours trying to watch the latest episode of Spooks on Youtube. My computer is being slower than molasses today because of the windstorm that rolled in last night. I need my Richard Armitage fix!

If my friend, and the pervy bitch knows who she is, doesn't show up on chat soon, I may just beat her with a fettuccine noodle...but then she might be into that sort of thing!

My son is doing good, thank you God! The burns are healing nicely. The way he has been running around here, you would think he hadn't a care in the world. Except when he wants attention, then he acts like he is on his deathbed! The snot.

What is it about your children that sometimes makes you want to bite them because they are so adorable?

9:08pm: Any recs out there?
By the way, and I should have included this in my last post a couple of minutes ago, ccan anyone recommend some fanfics for me? I am getting a little burned out on HP het and slash, and I have not found any really good ones of Spooks/MI5 except for one which I religiously read every update on, but now I think I need something different.

8:43pm: Is it possible to die of boredom?
I think it might be.

There is nothing to watch, the radio seems to be stuck on Music-That-Sucks day, and all of my friends are MIA.

On the plus side, I DO have some delicious pics of Richard Armitage to drool over for a while.

That man is too sexy to be legal.

9:55am: Change of tactics
My first fic for SS/HG is going badly. My muse has left for an extended vacation without leaving me an itinerary.Therefore, I have decided to write out a plot bunny that has taken up residence in my head for Spooks. An RA/OC fic with lots of smut and a little bit of plot.

But my internet connections have been hating me lately. First, comp has a nervous breakdown, then my IP address and Gateway numbers got screwed up for some reason that is a mystery to everyone and THEN someone crashed their car into an electric pole and took out all the electric for two days!

I seriously can't get a break and for all of you laughing at me...*sticks tongue out*

8:06pm: I need to figure this out.
I need to figure out how to post one of my stories here. Hmmm...

7:07pm: I just now remembered that I signed up!
I just now remembered, via a friend, that I signed up here. Must post fics soon. I have been working on my first HP fan fic FOREVER and just when i get a couple of chapters done or even the whole story, before I can upload it, my computer has a nervous breakdown.

Has anyone seen my muse? It went on vacation a couple of months ago and hasn't been seen since.
